I’m probably going to insert a caveat into my no-new-books-this-year rule.  Reference books might have to be allowed.  That’s not cheating is it?  How about no new fictionbooks this year?  That’s really what I meant so I don’t think I’d be bending the rules tooo much if I bought some reference books would I?
